About us
We originally became involved
with the Airstream product when we purchased a new 31’ Airstream in 1974.
Shortly thereafter we came upon a 1961 Bambi and added that to our
family. People have referred to the
Bambi as a “dog house”or a “baby” when seeing the two units together.
We traveled with our trailer as members of the Wally Byam Club.
Our children learned much about the United States and made friends all
over the country. Both are married
now and have their own Airstreams. In 1982, we
bought an existing dealership and began to sell new and used Airstreams.
Over the years we have customized trailers for our customers as well as
refurbished used units. Although we are no longer an authorized Airstream dealer
selling new trailers, we are now putting our years of experience to work in
outfitting and customizing “vintage Airstream trailers”.
We still do full service on Airstreams and sell parts throughout the
country. We are still active with
the Wally Byam Club and travel to the International Rallies each year as well as
participate in local rallies.The
knowledge gained in working with the early Airstreams has enabled us to develop
a good background in supplying information and the correct data and materials
for the Classic Airstream. The
original dealership was started in 1959.We look
forward to assisting you with your needs both in travel trailers as well as
Motor homes. And yes, we still have our Bambi!
